Garden

The Sherwood Garden

Is a thriving and beloved part of our building in the courtyard shared with our sister building, The Montclair. Where the building stands now, used to be an entrance to a golf course and most of what is now our courtyard was occupied by a giant fountain that must have shot water 40 feet up in the air. You can still see the fountain and two large reflecting pools, now filled with bluestone and repurposed as sitting and gathering areas.

We hope the garden can serve as a place of respite and relaxation. The garden is maintained by the Garden Committee, a small but dedicated group of volunteers.

Please be respectful of their work, and our neighbors while enjoying the garden and please help preserve it. Take note of the Garden Rules and in case of questions contact the garden committee garden@thesherwood.org and the board@thesherwood.org.
